Grand AA IV by user1319836

Format: Commander

Commander: Grand Arbiter Augustin IV

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Grand Arbiter Augustin IV leads a slow Azorius stax-voltron deck. The primary plan is to tax opponents with GAAIV plus Ghostly Prison and Hokori while developing card advantage through Sram and Puresteel Paladin, then suit up GAAIV with Aura and Equipment to deal 21 commander damage. The secondary path is Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought, which after 20+ charge counters can use its attack trigger to point Phyrexian Vindicator at a player for 100 damage. GAAIV functions mainly as a cost reducer and tax engine rather than a dedicated enabler; Dawnsire is a fragile alternate finisher, not a true hidden commander.
