Deck overview

This Aminatou, the Fateshifter deck operates as an Esper Blink Combo-Control strategy. The deck leverages enter-the-battlefield triggers to generate continuous card advantage, mana tempo, and board control. Aminatou serves as a versatile utility engine in the command zone, filtering card draws and repeatedly triggering key utility permanents such as Baleful Strix, Aether Channeler, and Gilded Drake. Robust interaction suites featuring free countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Will, alongside silencers like Grand Abolisher and Teferi, Time Raveler, protect the board state. The primary win condition revolves around resolving Felidar Guardian alongside Aminatou. This interaction forms an infinite flicker loop that fuels outlets like Corpse Knight for lethal life drain or Altar of the Brood for mill. Alternative value engines like Displacer Kitten and Oath of Teferi provide strong redundancy and recovery, ensuring the deck transitions seamlessly from midrange control to an explosive finish.
