Deck overview

Gev, Scaled Scorch is a Rakdos aristocrats combo deck built around persist loops. Gev's cast trigger pings an opponent, turning on his static ability, which gives other creatures entering +1/+1 counters. That counter cancels the -1/-1 counter from persist, letting Putrid Goblin or Murderous Redcap die and return indefinitely. Sacrifice outlets convert the loop into infinite death triggers, drained by Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Mayhem Devil, or Goblin Bombardment. A secondary Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame line creates infinite hasty tokens. Tutors and rituals assemble the combo quickly, while First Day of Class serves as a backup counter-cancel enabler if Gev is unavailable.
