Deck overview

This deck is a four-color control and polymorph list helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost noncreature token generators like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller during the opening turns. Once token fodder is established, casting Jace on Turn 4 allows an immediate -3 activation to exile a token and reveal into massive threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Lord Xander, the Collector, Serra's Emissary, or It That Betrays. The deck backs up this core game plan with redundant cheat spells like Proteus Staff and Mass Polymorph, versatile permanent removal, and resilient board-protection spells. While the list lacks instant-speed stack interaction and infinite combos, its dense package of two-mana ramp rocks and devastating high-end payoffs creates immense asymmetric attrition that overwhelms opposing boards across subsequent combat cycles.
