Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a spellslinger control and burn strategy commanded by Judith, Carnage Connoisseur. The game plan leverages Judith's modal ability to turn cheap red damage spells, such as Blazing Volley, Boiling Earth, and Smash to Dust, into one-sided, deathtouch board wipes that gain substantial life. Once creature boards are cleared, Judith creates 2/2 Imp tokens whenever cheap cantrips and removal spells are cast. The deck converts these tokens into lethal damage across the table using sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment and Plumb the Forbidden, amplified by pingers like Guttersnipe and Firebrand Archer. High-impact recursion spells like Command the Dreadhorde and Underworld Breach turn late-game graveyards into decisive burst finishes. While exceptionally strong against creature-based decks, the deck relies heavily on its commander and lacks countermagic to interact with noncreature combos on the stack.
