Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul aggressive stompy deck built around Amarant Coral. The commander converts traditional single-target combat damage into table-wide burn via its No Mercy trigger, attacking each combat if able with natural trample. The deck leverages dense early green ramp to deploy Amarant on Turn 3 and attack on Turn 4. From there, it layers power equipment such as Buster Sword, damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and massive secondary threats like Drakuseth, Maw of Flames and Ghalta, Primal Hunger. Because the list runs no infinite combos or creature tutors, it relies on consistent land drops, trample damage, and board wipes like Chandra's Ignition or Blasphemous Act to clear blockers. Protection cards like Swiftfoot Boots and Mithril Coat keep the commander alive through prolonged combat steps, ultimately closing games around Turn 8 through cumulative burn and trample pressure.
