Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Angel Reanimator strategy commanded by Firja, Judge of Valor. It focuses on filling the graveyard with high-impact, high-mana Angels through early self-mill, discard, and targeted entomb effects, then reanimating them far ahead of curve with spells like Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Patriarch's Bidding. The commander provides steady card selection and graveyard stocking whenever two spells are cast in a turn. Once on the battlefield, iconic flyers such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Emeria Shepherd, and the melded Brisela, Voice of Nightmares create resilient, high-power aerial boards that dominate combat and protect life totals. The deck backs up its board presence with efficient single-target exile removal, mass reanimation swings, and natural lifegain synergies to outlast opposing aggression and close the game through combat damage.
