Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu Vampire tribal and aristocrats build commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability to generate free 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast, creating rapid board presence without requiring the commander on the battlefield. The primary strategy swarms the board with low-mana Vampires, converts tokens into massive card advantage with Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and overwhelms opponents using team-wide anthem buffs like Cordial Vampire and Cathars' Crusade. Aristocrat drain pieces such as Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker steadily deplete enemy life totals while punishing sweepers. As a decisive win condition, the deck features the two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond, supported by tutors like Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor. The deck balances aggressive combat pressure with potent life-drain inevitability.
