Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Temur Dragon Stompy strategy commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan focuses on deploying dense early ramp across Turns 1 through 3 to reach six or seven mana by Turn 4. From there, the deck casts Ureni with haste or cheats it via Hellkite Courser, triggering its enter-the-battlefield ability to look at the top eight cards and put a massive Dragon onto the battlefield for free. On Turn 5, attacking with Ureni cheat-casts another Dragon, establishing an overwhelming aerial assault backed by devastating triggers from Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Utvara Hellkite. The deck can also close games instantly using an infinite combat loop with Old Gnawbone and Aggravated Assault. Low-cost and free interaction spells safeguard the board against disruption, ensuring a rapid and resilient close on Turn 6.
