Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red burn storm deck commanded by Ashling, Flame Dancer. It leverages twenty copies of Dragon's Approach to create a consistent, redundant spellslinger engine. Ashling provides continuous card selection by rummaging on every instant or sorcery cast or copy, while wiping opposing utility creatures on her second trigger and refunding four red mana on her third. The primary game plan accelerates mana through rituals and cost reducers, deploys Ashling by Turn 4, and launches a lethal storm turn on Turn 5. Key enablers like Thrumming Stone ripple through the library to cast numerous Approaches, searching out game-ending dragons such as Twinflame Tyrant and Knollspine Dragon. Free redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend protect the win turn, while an infinite copy loop with Fury Storm provides a compact secondary win condition.
