Format: Commander

Commander: Xolatoyac, the Smiling Flood

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Xolatoyac, the Smiling Flood commands a Simic ramp and sea monster strategy that floods opposing lands to guarantee unblockable attacks while untapping permanents with counters for extreme resource generation. The primary game plan accelerates into massive Krakens, Leviathans, and Serpents like Stormtide Leviathan, Spawning Kraken, and Koma, Cosmos Serpent, overwhelming opponents through unblockable combat damage. Secondarily, the deck leverages untap synergies with Mana Vault, Arixmethes, and The One Ring to fuel explosive turns, or executes infinite card draw combos using Wizard Class alongside Fathom Mage or Pensive Professor. Supported by robust countermagic and bounce spells, the deck locks down the board and crushes the table.
