UR Dragon by Etch987

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon, built to exploit the eminence discount to turbo out an army of flying beaters. The primary plan is to ramp into Dragons, trigger ETB burn from Warstorm Surge, Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of the Peaks, and bury opponents in card advantage from the commander's attack trigger. The fastest kill is the infinite-combat loop of Hellkite Charger with Savage Ventmaw or Bear Umbra. Secondary lines include Tiamat tutoring five Dragons, Scion of the Ur-Dragon as a repeatable toolbox, and token generation from Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Utvara Hellkite. The deck is a midrange value engine that wins through overwhelming board presence backed by a compact combo.
