Deck overview

This deck is an Esper wheel and card-draw burn engine commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. The strategy converts high-volume card drawing into direct life loss for opponents while buffering your own life total. The deck leverages efficient mana rocks on Turn 2 to establish Queza and steady draw engines like Rhystic Study and Trouble in Pairs by Turn 4. In the mid-game, it pivots into explosive wheel effects such as Windfall, Teferi's Puzzle Box, and Jace's Archivist, which trigger massive life drain across the table through Queza, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Psychosis Crawler. It can also achieve a sudden win via the infinite draw-drain loop of Drogskol Reaver or an asymmetric lockout with Notion Thief. Supported by a lean suite of single-target exile removal and countermagic, the deck exerts continuous pressure while maintaining a full grip of resources.
