Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis Group Slug and Wheels strategy commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary game plan accelerates the game by giving all players extra cards each turn cycle while punishing opponents with incremental damage triggers whenever they draw. High redundancy in draw effects like Howling Mine and Dictate of Kruphix combines with pingers like Fate Unraveler, Underworld Dreams, and Psychosis Crawler to steadily drain life totals. Amplifiers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Krang, the All-Powerful dramatically increase damage velocity. High-impact spells like Peer into the Abyss, Magus of the Wheel, and Forced Fruition turn opposing hands into lethal liabilities. While the deck boasts immense redundancy and independent backup plans, it inherently hands opponents significant card advantage, leaving its creature-based win conditions exposed to counter-play and board wipes.
