Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf tribal midrange list that turns a wide legendary board into table-wide damage with Dain of the Ancient Halls. Dain is a 5-mana 4/5 with vigilance and haste whose attack trigger pings each opponent for the number of Dwarves you control, so he starts the clock the turn he is cast. The 99 is packed with legendary Dwarves, an Equipment package, and Treasure engines headed by Magda, Brazen Outlaw. Primary wins are repeated Dain triggers amplified by Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Bifur, Melodic Rider, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor, or Strionic Resonator, backed by go-wide combat. A clean two-card finish is Magda, Brazen Outlaw plus Aggravated Assault: five attacking Dwarves mint five Treasures, which buy another combat and loop. Equipment payoffs such as Bruenor Battlehammer, Reyav, Master Smith, and Colossus Hammer give a backup voltron clock. Dain is the best multiplayer closer, but the combo, lords, and Equipment plan all live in the 99.
