New Untitled Deck¹ by HogWizard

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Hero-tribal midrange combat deck built around Captain America, Team Leader. The commander turns every Hero that enters into a hasty, vigilant, +1/+1-countered attacker, and the entire 99 is built to exploit that: cheap Heroes, counter-synergy draw, modified-creature payoff, and a burst of extra combat and token generation to close the game. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins by overwhelming combat damage, usually through a wide counter-modified board, Akki Battle Squad extra combat, or a massive Champions from Beyond/Multiversal Incursion turn. Secondary plans include commander-damage beats as Captain America grows, Winter Soldier, Reborn Avenger recursion, and Thor, God of Thunder-fueled burn. The deck is resilient to single-target removal thanks to a dense hexproof/protection package, but it lacks efficient tutors and is therefore more of a consistent-value midrange deck than a fast combo deck.
