Commander: Zirda, the Dawnwaker

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Zirda, the Dawnwaker is a Boros artifact-combo deck that turns activated-ability discounts into infinite colorless mana. The primary plan is to cast Zirda early with fast mana, pair it with Basalt Monolith or Grim Monolith, and convert the mana through Staff of Domination into a deck-drawing loop that ends with Walking Ballista. Tutors and recursion make the two-card engine highly consistent, while stax and protection pieces buy the combo turn. Secondary paths include Metalworker plus Staff without Zirda, Cogwork Assembler creating infinite hasty tokens, and a small creature beatdown plan. The deck is fast but artifact-exposed; Null Rod effects and artifact sweepers are its main vulnerabilities.
