Deck overview

This deck is a high-power competitive Golgari combo list centered on Chatterfang, Squirrel General. It leverages explosive mana acceleration and efficient tutors to assemble compact infinite combos as early as Turn 2 to 3. The primary win line pairs Chatterfang, Squirrel General with Pitiless Plunderer or Warren Soultrader, creating an infinite loop of death triggers, Treasure tokens, and Squirrel generation that drains the table through aristocrat payoffs like Marionette Apprentice, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats. Backup lines include Earthcraft plus Squirrel Nest, as well as main-phase Ad Nauseam or Necropotence storm turns. While the list lacks blue countermagic for stack wars, it compensates with uncounterability enablers like Allosaurus Shepherd and Cavern of Souls, efficient instant-speed protection, and oppressive creature board control via Chatterfang's removal ability.
