Necron Overdrive by Prease

Format: Commander

Commander: Imotekh the Stormlord

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-black artifact deck builds around Imotekh the Stormlord as a token engine rather than a combo piece. You fill the graveyard with artifact creatures through self-mill/draw, then recur them with unearth, Ghost Ark, Technomancer, and reanimation spells; each artifact card that leaves the graveyard makes two 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens. Secondary paths are reanimator beatdown with big artifacts (Metalwork Colossus, Myr Battlesphere, Triplicate Titan) and an overrun finish with Dragon Throne of Tarkir. Szarekh, the Silent King is a support engine, not a hidden commander. The deck can also drain with Monumental Corruption, but its most reliable win is a single huge combat after assembling Dragon Throne and a large battlefield.
