Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black forced-sacrifice and discard strategy helmed by Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern. The primary game plan is to deploy Tergrid, then chain symmetric sacrifice and discard effects to steal opponents' permanents from the graveyard. The deck leverages value engines like Waste Not, Geth's Grimoire, and Braids, Arisen Nightmare to convert the disruption into card advantage and mana. The win condition is ultimately combat via stolen creatures, with Grave Pact and Butcher of Malakir providing additional sacrifice pressure. The deck is heavily reliant on Tergrid to turn its disruptive effects into a net positive; without her, it struggles to progress its own board state.
