Deck overview

This is a Rakdos life-drain combo deck helmed by Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls. The primary plan is to assemble an infinite life-loss loop from the Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond family - with Enduring Tenacity, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Bloodthirsty Conqueror as interchangeable halves - then drain the entire table. A secondary storm channel runs Ad Nauseam and Bolas's Citadel into Aetherflux Reservoir for a 50-life kill. The deck is packed with rituals (Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual, Culling the Weak, Rain of Filth, Burnt Offering) and fast mana (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, Lotus Petal, Ancient Tomb) to power out its expensive pieces, and a deep tutor suite (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Diabolic Intent, Beseech the Mirror, Gamble, Wishclaw Talisman, Emeritus of Woe) to find them. Valgavoth himself is a repeatable draw engine, refueling off every opponent life-loss trigger, while Underworld Breach plus a reanimation package (Animate Dead, Necromancy, Reanimate) provide recursion and a third storm angle.
