Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats strategy centered around Teysa, Orzhov Scion. The primary game plan revolves around generating small black creatures and tokens, sacrificing them through free outlets like Viscera Seer and Bartolomé del Presidio, and triggering Teysa's ability to create 1/1 flying white Spirit tokens. These tokens provide aerial pressure while doubling death triggers into life-draining payoffs such as Bastion of Remembrance, Cruel Celebrant, and Zulaport Cutthroat. The deck features solid functional redundancy among fodder and sacrifice outlets, enabling consistent mid-game assembly by Turn 4. While lacking fast infinite combos and stack interaction, it grinds down the table through relentless attrition, board-wipe punishment, and explosive reanimation turns using Rally the Ancestors and Plumb the Forbidden.
