Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck is a low-curve, instant-speed combo/tempo deck built around the front face of Kefka, Court Mage. Kefka, Ruler of Ruin is essentially a luxury transformation; the deck does not plan to pay {8}. Kefka's front ETB/attack strips a card from each opponent and refills your hand, while the 99 forms a tight Wizard shell with Rionya, Fire Dancer as a secondary engine (a de facto hidden commander), plus Harmonic Prodigy to double Wizard triggers. The primary kill is the Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame/Electroduplicate copy loop; a second line uses Rionya + Combat Celebrant extra combats. Cheap counters and flickers both protect the combo and keep opponents off-balance.
