Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Frog kindred strategy focused on +1/+1 counter scaling and combat pressure, led by Sab-Sunen, Luxa Embodied. The game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 through 3 to land Sab-Sunen on Turn 4, immediately generating card advantage on Turn 5. The deck leverages counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Innkeeper's Talent alongside trampling threats such as Trollbred Guardian and Galloping Lizrog to push decisive combat damage. Interaction centers on flavorfully transforming opposing commanders into vanilla 1/1 Frogs with Frogify and Amphibian Downpour, effectively disabling threats without allowing command zone resets. Board protection from Ripples of Potential and Inspiring Call insulates the team against sweepers, allowing the deck to close games consistently across Turns 7 and 8.
