Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue Wizard tribal combo-control strategy led by Azami, Lady of Scrolls. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, versatile Wizards during the early turns to build board presence and utility. Once Azami enters the battlefield on Turn 5, she immediately converts every Wizard into instant-speed card draw, bypassing summoning sickness restrictions and filling your hand with answers and combo pieces. The primary win condition is assembling Isochron Scepter imprinted with Dramatic Reversal alongside multi-mana rocks like Gilded Lotus or Basalt Monolith. This generates infinite mana and infinite untaps, allowing Azami to draw the entire library. The deck then closes the game immediately through Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. While the list lacks targeted tutors and format-ceiling fast mana, its immense card velocity and counterspell density provide robust protection once the draw engine is active.
