Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul stompy deck focused on casting Etali, Primal Conqueror ahead of curve and multiplying its enters-the-battlefield trigger. By pairing cheap mana dorks, land ramp, and red burst rituals, the deck accelerates to seven mana by turn 4. Once Etali resolves, it exiles and casts the top nonland card from each player's library for free, generating massive tempo and card advantage in a single action. The deck then uses red copy spells like Twinflame, Heat Shimmer, and repeatable cloners like Rionya, Fire Dancer or Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink to generate token copies of Etali. Each token triggers the cascade-style ability again before the legend rule removes it. Secondary win conditions include pivoting into massive threats like Apex Devastator or paying life and mana to transform Etali into Etali, Primal Sickness for one-hit poison eliminations.
