Polyukranos by LeeJames91

Format: Commander

Commander: Polukranos Reborn // Polukranos, Engine of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck operates as an aristocrats-style token engine focused around the back face of the commander, Polukranos, Engine of Ruin. The primary game plan develops mana to cast and transform Polukranos, then casts X-cost Hydras where X equals zero for just one or two green mana. These zero-toughness creatures immediately die upon entering the battlefield, triggering Polukranos to produce two 3/3 Phyrexian Hydra tokens each time. Mass resurrection effects like Raise the Past and Rally the Ancestors recur entire graveyards of zero-cost Hydras in a single turn. The deck finishes games by swarming opponents with massive boards of tokens buffed by Akroma's Will or Caretaker's Talent.
