Deck overview

This Jund deck pairs sacrifice synergies with permanent type diversity to power out Korvold, Gleeful Glutton ahead of curve. By running multi-type permanents such as artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, and artifact lands, the deck rapidly stocks its graveyard while reducing Korvold's casting cost by up to {4} generic mana. Once Korvold enters with haste, trample, and flying, it attacks immediately to deal heavy combat damage, place numerous +1/+1 counters on itself, and refill the hand based on the card types in the graveyard. A rich interaction suite featuring Deflecting Swat, Deadly Rollick, and Assassin's Trophy keeps opposing threats in check. The deck closes games through scaling commander combat damage, extra combat phases from Fear of Missing Out, and table-wide burn via Chandra's Ignition, Mayhem Devil, and Marionette Apprentice.
