This deck is an Atraxa, Praetors' Voice aggro-control strategy centered on poison counters and proliferation. The game plan focuses on infecting each opponent early with efficient toxic creatures, unblockable infect threats, or direct poison spells like Prologue to Phyresis and Ichor Rats. Once opponents have poison counters, the deck deploys Atraxa alongside powerful multiplier engines like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Flux Channeler, and Inexorable Tide to proliferate counters across the entire table each turn without needing to connect in combat.
