Golgari Pests Insects Snakes oh my by HawthornVine

Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest turns every point of life gained into +1/+1 counters for the Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake, and Spider creatures. The primary plan is to curve a lifegain creature into Blech, then generate token after token while counter doublers like Winding Constrictor and Hardened Scales magnify the growth. Combat wins come from Overwhelming Stampede, Return of Wildspeaker, or Triumph of the Hordes on a wide, pumped board. Grist, the Hunger Tide adds removal and token creation, while Maskwood Nexus makes every creature count for Blech's trigger. A compact Witherbloom Apprentice plus Chain of Smog loop is an alternate, out-of-nowhere table kill. The deck is a synergy-first Golgari board deck with a fragile but real combo finish.
