Deck overview

Alesha, Who Smiles at Death leads a Mardu reanimator build that converts attacks into repeatable graveyard recursion. The primary plan is to attack whenever possible, reanimating small creatures like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Infestation Sage, and Master of Cruelties to drain life, create tokens, or remove a player outright. Secondary lines use one-shot reanimation such as Behold the Sinister Six!, Phyrexian Reclamation, and Victimize to out-grind opponents, while Aurelia adds an extra combat to chain Alesha triggers. Life-gain payoffs like Marauding Blight-Priest, Vengeful Bloodwitch, and Daxos turn every death and reanimation into additional drain. The deck functions without Alesha, but much faster with her, and closes with Exsanguinate once the board has whittled life totals.
