New Untitled Deck

Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a Dimir attrition/value engine helmed by Vren, the Relentless, built around forcing opponents to sacrifice creatures, exiling them via Vren's replacement effect, and turning that exile into a growing army of Rat tokens. The primary game plan is to deploy edict effects (Fleshbag Marauder, Plaguecrafter, etc.) to clear opposing boards, then drain the table with death-trigger payoffs like Zulaport Cutthroat and Bastion of Remembrance. A robust recursion suite (Dread Return, Victimize, Thrilling Encore) ensures the deck can rebuild after wipes, and cards like Pitiless Plunderer convert creature deaths into treasure mana. The deck lacks fast combos and wins through incremental life loss and combat damage from increasingly large Rat tokens.
