Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis discard combo-control strategy led by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana through efficient mana rocks and rituals (Dark Ritual, Jeska's Will, Seething Song) to deploy Kefka alongside a damage-on-draw or damage-on-discard payoff. Once the engine generates {8} mana, Kefka transforms into Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. This creates an immediate deterministic win loop with Psychosis Crawler in the main phase, or with Glint-Horn Buccaneer and Magmakin Artillerist during the cleanup step. The deck backs up this strategy with a robust suite of top-tier interaction, free defensive spells, and potent reanimation options, enabling rapid recovery and high resilience against opposing disruption.
