Yargamel by GregUndead

Format: Commander

Commander: Yargle and Multani

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deck treats Yargle and Multani as a reusable 18-power engine and finisher. The primary plan is to ramp into the five-mana commander by turn 3-4, then convert its power into cards, mana, tokens, and lands using Selvala, Rishkar's Expertise, Fungal Sprouting, and Traverse the Outlands. Secondary paths win with overrun effects (Overwhelming Stampede, Pathbreaker Ibex, Craterhoof Behemoth) or an all-opponent X drain (Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate). Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Essence Harvest, and Dying Wish provide sacrifice-based life loss. Yargle, Glutton of Urborg acts as a hidden backup commander, keeping the same power-based engine going if Yargle and Multani is answered. The deck is not a combo deck: it wins by turning one huge body into a board state or mana pool and finishing in a single turn.
