Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls leads a Rakdos group-slug and aristocrats deck that wins by stacking small pings into lethal drain. Valgavoth is the primary draw engine, growing and refilling your hand whenever an opponent loses life for the first time each turn. The board fills with redundant punishers that damage on draws, sacrifices, and creature entry - Sheoldred, Spiteful Visions, Razorkin Needlehead, Impact Tremors and Mayhem Devil. Secondary paths use token generators and sacrifice outlets with Blood Artist effects to grind life totals, while Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos control creatures. No infinite combo is present; the hidden commanders are Sheoldred and The Lord of Pain, which can carry the game if Valgavoth is removed.
