Deck overview

This Boros Equipment deck uses Nahiri, Forged in Fury to cheat mana costs and generate card advantage through aggressive combat. By curving out with low-cost Equipment on early turns, the deck casts Nahiri ahead of schedule using Affinity for Equipment. Once assembled, attacking with equipped creatures exiles cards from the library and casts revealed Equipment for free, rapidly compounding board presence and power. Alternative Voltron threats such as Balan, Wandering Knight, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Wyleth, Soul of Steel provide redundant combat outlets that bypass equip costs. While the deck boasts high physical damage output and steady card velocity, its reliance on combat damage and artifact permanents leaves it exposed to mass artifact removal and instant-speed interaction during pre-combat phases. Targeted damage spells and light stax elements slow opposing strategies while the deck works through sequential combat steps to finish the table.
