Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria helms a Grixis Villain tribal deck centered on connive triggers, discard synergies, and evasive combat pressure. The deck opens by establishing low-cost Villains such as Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord or Prowler, Clawed Thief, curving directly into Doctor Doom, King of Latveria on turn 4. At the beginning of each combat, Doom grants menace and triggers connive, steadily filtering cards, growing attackers with +1/+1 counters, and burning each opponent for 2 life whenever a land is discarded. In the midgame, the deck compounds this advantage through token generation from Madame Hydra and Ultron, Unlimited, while leveraging discard payoffs like Faith of the Devoted and Containment Construct. The primary win condition peaks on turn 6 with mass-buff finishers like The Squadron Sinister and Titania, Proud Pummeler, overwhelming opponents with high-power evasive attacks and closing out the game by turn 8.
