Commander: Marchesa, Dealer of Death

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis theft-and-crime tribal deck helmed by Marchesa, Dealer of Death. The primary game plan revolves around committing crimes (targeting opponents or their permanents) to trigger the commander s card selection, while a dense suite of temporary and permanent theft spells (e.g., Act of Treason, Control Magic, Agent of Treachery) steals opponents creatures and resources. An outlaw tribal subtheme (Laughing Jasper Flint, Rev, Tithe Extractor, Vial Smasher, Gleeful Grenadier) provides additional value from stolen creatures. Win conditions include overwhelming combat with stolen threats, Insurrection as a finisher, or generating massive card advantage through Underworld Breach recursion. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins through incremental advantage and board dominance.
