Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Selesnya go-wide aggro deck helmed by Torens, Fist of the Angels. The strategy focuses on chaining low-cost creature spells to trigger Torens, generating a massive army of 1/1 Human Soldier tokens that grow through the training mechanic. The deck accelerates this growth with counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season, alongside explosive anthems like Cathars' Crusade and Kyler, Sigardian Emissary. Evasion enablers such as Champion of Lambholt, Abzan Falconer, and Kodama of the West Tree ensure the swarm can connect for lethal combat damage around turn 7. While the deck boasts high internal redundancy, strong card draw engines, and rapid board rebuilding, it features almost no interactive removal spells or stax pieces, leaving it vulnerable to faster combo decks and exile-based board wipes.
