Deck overview

The deck's central plan is to cast Phage the Untouchable from hand, give it haste with Hall of the Bandit Lord, and make it unblockable enough to connect through Dauthi Embrace or a comparable evasion card. A successful hit immediately eliminates one player. The list has unusually strong mono-black tutoring and mana scaling through Cabal Coffers, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Crypt Ghast, and Nirkana Revenant, but the kill requires several separate roles. Ordinary execution therefore assembles around turn 8, attacks on that turn, and finishes around turn 10 if Phage survives. Equipment provides useful haste, hexproof, shroud, or indestructible, while Damnation, Toxic Deluge, and efficient removal control blockers and opposing creatures. The deck lacks a compact infinite combo, broad stack interaction, and sustained denial. Its main weakness is not damage output; it is the number of vulnerable pieces and mana commitments required before the first lethal attack.
