Deck overview

The Scarab God leads a blue-black Zombie tribal deck that wins by overwhelming the board with tokens and lords while draining life through upkeep and death triggers. The primary plan is to develop early Zombies and mana rocks, then cast The Scarab God to scry, drain, and reanimate key creatures as 4/4 Zombies. Secondary paths include a compact Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + Diregraf Captain infinite-death loop and a go-wide combat finish with menace, flying, and swampwalk. The commander is a value engine rather than a required combo piece; there is no hidden commander. Recursion engines like Gisa and Geralf, Wilhelt, and Volrath's Stronghold keep the board refilling after wipes.
