Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest is the engine: every extra legendary Wizard doubles the mana value of the instant or sorcery he can cast for free at the start of combat. The primary plan is to flood the board with legendary Wizards, then use Gandalf's trigger to chain extra turns and extra-combat spells. Kykar and Veyran turn those noncreature spells into Spirit tokens and amplified triggers, while Gale works as a hidden graveyard commander in the 99. The deck can also pivot into a Wizard-combat beatdown plan, but without Gandalf the free-cast acceleration disappears, so early Wizard count and protection are the central priorities.
