bard 201 by txusso

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is the single-faced commander and the deck's main multiplier. The plan is to land Bard early, then use artifact draw spells and token generators (Sai, Efficient Construction, Thopter Fabricator, Stridehangar Automaton) to turn every cheap artifact cast into a swarm of Thopters. Bard doubles every non-draw-step draw and doubles all token creation, so card advantage quickly becomes an army. Secondary paths are a Mechanized Production alt-win, recursion via Open the Vaults/Teleportation Circle, and a recruit subtheme with The Queen of Dale. The deck wins by attacking with pumped flyers and artifacts; Mechanized Production is a slower alternate route.
