lucky dog by SelkN

Format: Commander

Commander: Lucky the Pizza Dog

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lucky is a Food and +1/+1-counter engine: cheap Cat, Dog, and Hero spells make Food, and any life gain puts a counter on Lucky. The deck's primary plan is commander voltron, with Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Doubling Season, and The Earth Crystal turning every Food sacrifice or pump spell into a large unblockable attacker. A secondary Food/token value path uses Peregrin Took, Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, Trail of Crumbs, and Academy Manufactor, with an incidental infinite-Treasure loop through Nuka + Peregrin + Mushroom Watchdogs. Night of Sweets' Revenge provides a mass-pump finisher, while protection is layered with Heroic Intervention, Inspiring Call, and cheap hexproof effects. The hidden commander is effectively Peregrin Took, amplifying every Food token and anchoring the combo.
