Breeches by user4195071

Format: Commander

Commander: Breeches, the Blastmaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet Pirate/Artifact value deck built around the "second spell each turn" trigger, with Breeches, the Blastmaker as the payoff: sacrifice an artifact, flip a coin, and either copy the spell or burn for its mana value. The deck leans heavily on a dense treasure/artifact-token engine - Magda, the Hoardmaster, Generous Plunderer, Rapacious Dragon, Gold Pan, Goldvein Pick, and Brass's Bounty - to feed the sacrifice costs and fuel a cast-trigger payoff suite including Kraum, Violent Cacophony, Iron-Fist Pulverizer, Geralf, the Fleshwright, and Ovika, Enigma Goliath. Edgar, King of Figaro makes every coin flip come up heads, turning the commander's ability deterministic. The deck wins through incremental combat damage, copied burn, and go-wide token pressure rather than any fast combo.
