Deck overview

Marneus Calgar turns every token event into card flow, so the deck wants an early token engine followed by a broad creature board. Bitterblossom, Black Market Connections, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Shorikai, Genesis Engine, and the squad creatures provide bodies. Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Bard, King of Dale, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation multiply those bodies, while Akroma's Will, Knowledge Is Power, and Moonshaker Cavalry convert them into combat pressure. The deck has solid but not competitive-level mana and interaction. Its main weakness is access: it lacks broad tutoring, and the best finishers are expensive. A typical operational engine appears around turn 5, with a meaningful must-answer board around turn 7. The list can generate impressive bursts of cards and tokens, but it does not reliably assemble a same-turn table kill or a total lockout. It is best played as resilient token midrange rather than as a combo deck.
