Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron build centered on Captain America, First Avenger. The primary game plan accelerates into Captain America by Turn 3 and deploys heavy, high-cost Equipment on Turn 4. Captain America's Catch ability bypasses steep equip costs by attaching a weapon for free at the beginning of combat. Once equipped with massive armaments such as Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Kaldra Compleat, or Genji Glove, the commander exerts immense combat pressure. His Throw ability turns high-cost Equipment into flexible direct-damage removal to clear blockers or burn out opponents. Supporting creatures like Puresteel Paladin, Sram, Senior Edificer, and Akiri, Fearless Voyager maintain card advantage, while Sunforger and Forge Anew provide tactical flexibility. The deck secures victory by eliminating players through commander damage and throwing weapons to finish off remaining life totals by Turn 8.
