Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1 counter deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The commander draws cards when you put -1/-1 counters on creatures you control and pings opponents for counters placed on their creatures. The deck leverages a high density of cards that distribute -1/-1 counters-creatures like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Soul Snuffers, and Archfiend of Ifnir-to generate card advantage, tokens, and removal. Win conditions include combat with deathtouch tokens from Hapatra and Grave Venerations' drain, plus direct life loss from the commander and Everlasting Torment. The deck grinds out value over time, controlling the board with -1/-1 counters and recurring threats via Persist and Aberrant Return.
