Deck overview

This deck is a flavor-forward Dimir control build led by Xanathar, Guild Kingpin, deeply committed to an Eye and Beholder tribal motif. It operates by stalling early opposing aggression with low-cost interaction, cantrips, and taxing enchantments like Propaganda before transitioning into the late game. Mana development is paced largely on curve, building toward six-drop and seven-drop haymakers. Once Xanathar hits the battlefield and survives a full turn rotation, its upkeep ability silences the most threatening opponent on your turn while siphoning their topdeck spells for incremental value. Win conditions are purely fair and combat-driven, relying on large evasive Horrors, Beholders, and stolen opposing threats to whittle down life totals across multiple combat rounds.
