Deck overview

Lyra, Tolarian Archangel headlines a mono-blue tempo and flying tokens deck that weaponizes card velocity into an imposing evasive aerial army. By combining low-cost draw-three instants, continuous combat-damage card draw enchantments, and draw-matters token generators, the deck reliably generates 3/3 flying Angels, 2/2 Drakes, and 8/8 Krakens every turn cycle. The primary game plan curves from early mana rocks into Lyra on Turn 3, assembling recurring token generation on Turn 4 via draw spells like Brainsurge and Thirst for Discovery. By Turn 6, the deck achieves critical onset with a formidable flying armada backed by coastal piracy effects, anthems like Gravitational Shift, and asymmetric bounce spells like Raise the Palisade. A robust suite of efficient countermagic and instant removal shields key pieces and disrupts opposing win attempts while maintaining high card velocity. The deck excels at grinding out multiplayer pods through overwhelming card advantage and evasive combat damage.
